I was about 12 when I first learned what the word “philanthropy” meant and decided that I wanted to be a philanthropist when I grew up. Then of course, I found out that it isn’t actually a job so I fell into mortgage lending instead. But I still love the idea of giving back. No greater joy can be found than when we serve others.

The other way we give back is to SAVE YOUR BACK. Literally. When you close a loan with us, you get help moving into your new crib. We give you a $300 gift certificate to Big Boy Movers. And boy those boys can move!! You get two guys for four hours. Your family and friends will thank us.

Builders Without Borders
I am blessed to work with this group and each year we spend a week with the most amazing people of Mexico helping to build homes and teach sewing skills. My youngest started going when she was 13 and recently completed her sixth trip. Through these experiences, she decided on a career helping others and working in the nonprofit world. Veteran Discount
My hubby was in the U.S. Army for five years when we were first married and that experience helped shape our relationship and family. We used our VA benefits to buy our second home and I LOVE the VA loan for veterans.
Each one of us have been blessed by the sacrifice and service of those in the military and I personally will be forever grateful.
